Cycle & Rider Transportation

Post-Ride

Do you require cycle and passenger transportation back to the UK after the ride and event has finished?  

I require transportation for both rider and cycle to London.

I require transportation for both rider and cycle to Birmingham.

I do not require transportation as I will be extending my stay in Paris and arranging my own return to the UK with my bike and luggage.  Cycling for Humanity do not need to book my return trip.

Sponsorship

I understand there is a minimum sponsorship amount to be raised of £2000 for Bike Ride.  

I have watched the videos and read the health & safety rules which I will follow during the participation of this bike ride.

Health & Safety / Cycling Etiquette

I confirm I have read and agree to the below terms and conditions.

1. I am aware that cycling, and in particular cycling events, involves the possibility of injury or death.

2. I accept these risks, and all others arising from these events and programs, even if arising from the negligence.

3. I understand that all applicable rules for participation must be followed and that SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY PERSONAL SAFETY REMAINS WITH ME, including my physical and emotional preparation and fitness to participate in all events and programs throughout the year.

4. I undertake and agree to remove myself from participation if I sense or observe any unusual hazard or unsafe condition, or if, at any time, at any event or program, I feel unable or unfit to safely continue for any reason.

5. I give, a FULL RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND ALL CLAIMS that I have, or my have in the future against Cycling For Humanity and all other releases from all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense that I may suffer as a result of my participation in any part or parts of the events or programs or my presence at any venue at which they may take place, from any breach of contract or statutory duty or other duty of care including any duty of care owed under the Occupiers Liability Act [1957].

6. I AGREE NOT TO SUE and I further agree TO INDEMNIFY AND SAVE HARMLESS the Releases from all expenses, fees, liability or damage award or cost of any type whatsoever arising from my participation in this event.

7. The Registration fee is non refundable if you are unable to make the event.

8. In addition, By participating in the Cycling For Humanity Bike Ride:

 I grant permission to Cycling For Humanity to photograph and video me in the course of my  participation in the Cycling For Humanity fundraising event and to use my name and photographs and  video of me for Cycling For Humanity purposes in and media and territory in perpetuity.

I acknowledge that I will not receive and financial remuneration for any of the above and that my  compensation is the opportunity to contribute to the activities of Cycling For Humanity.

I waive and release any and all claims for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators against  Cycling For Humanity, its agents, employees, and licensees, and any sponsors, officials and organisers  of the Cycling For Humanity event in connection with any injury, illness or death which may directly or  indirectly result from my participation in this event, or from any claim arising in connection with the  use of my name or photographs or videos of me.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS WAIVER, RELEASE AND INDEMNITY and agree with the contents of this Agreement, prior to participating in the Cycling For Humanity Bike Ride.  I am aware that by ticking the agreement box I am waiving substantial legal rights (on my behalf and on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators and next of kin), including the giving up of my right to sue.


Disclaimer: By participating in this event, you accept these terms and conditions of entry and acknowledge that Cycling For Humanity has no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to your belongings. You also acknowledge and accept that Cycling For Humanity will not be liable for death or personal injury.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK. IN CONSIDERATION OF THE ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT, YOU ASSUME FULL AND COMPLETE RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INJURY OR ACCIDENT WHICH MAY OCCUR DURING THE EVENT, WHILE YOU ARE ON THE PREMISES OF THE EVENT, OR WHILE YOU ARE TRAVELLING TO OR FROM THE EVENT. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT IS HAZARDOUS, AND THAT YOU SHOULD NOT ENTER AND PARTICIPATE UNLESS YOU ARE MEDICALLY ABLE AND PROPERLY TRAINED. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE EVENT MAY BE HELD OVER PUBLIC ROADS AND FACILITIES OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DURING THE EVENT AND UPON WHICH HAZARDS ARE TO BE EXPECTED. YOU ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT CARRIES WITH IT CERTAIN INHERENT RISKS AND DANGERS THAT CANNOT BE ELIMINATED COMPLETELY RANGING FROM RISK OF MINOR INJURIES TO CATASTROPHIC INJURIES INCLUDING PERMANENT DISABILITY AND DEATH. YOU ARE AWARE OF AND ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION RISKS OF PERMANENT INJURY OR DEATH DUE TO FALLS, OBSTACLES, CONTACT WITH OTHER PARTICIPANTS, ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF OTHER PARTICIPANTS, EFFECT OF WEATHER, TRAFFIC AND CONDITIONS OF ANY ROAD.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY. YOU HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, COVENANT NOT TO SUE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE CYCLING FOR HUMANITY AND ALL OTHER PERSONS ASSOCIATED WITH THE EVENT, FOR ALL LIABILITIES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, OR DAMAGES THAT YOU MAY HAVE AGAINST THEM ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR REGISTRATION AND/OR PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITIES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, OR DAMAGES CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF THE ABOVE PARTIES (INCLUDING ANY NEGLIGENT RESCUE ATTEMPT), THE ACTION OR INACTION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE PARTIES, OR OTHERWISE.

CYCLING FOR HUMANITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF CYCLING FOR HUMANITY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (A) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE CYCLING FOR HUMANITY SITES, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES; (B) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE CYCLING FOR HUMANITY SITES; (C) YOUR PARTICIPATION IN ANY PROMOTION OR PROGRAM COORDINATED BY CYCLING FOR HUMANITY; (D) PERSONAL INJURY NOT CAUSED BY CYCLING FOR HUMANITY’S GROSS NEGLIGENCE; (E) UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (F) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE CYCLING FOR HUMANITY SITES; (G) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE CYCLING FOR HUMANITY SITES, OR CYCLING FOR HUMANITY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES; OR (H) YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT. YOU AGREE THAT CYCLING FOR HUMANITY’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO YOU, FOR ANY REASON OR CAUSE WHATSOEVER, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF MONIES RECEIVED BY CYCLING FOR HUMANITY FROM YOU.

BY INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT AND WAIVER, YOU ARE AFFIRMING THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT AND WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU AND ALL REGISTERED PARTIES ARE GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE AGREEING TO THIS AGREEMENT AND WAIVER FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY, AND INTEND BY YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO BE A COMPLETE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW

Your rider pack includes one cycling jersey, but we highly recommend adding extra jerseys to stay fresh and comfortable each day. Additional jerseys are available for just £30 each
